Military Can Still Qualify for Federal Tax Credit

The unprecedented Federal Tax Credit has come and gone for most Americans. But there is a select few who can still take advantage of the program. Members of our Armed Forces, who give so much for our nation and especially the Montgomery area, can still qualify for the up to $8,000 tax credit through April 30, 2011.

As long as you have served on official extended duty outside the United States for more than 90 days between January 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010 and meet the other requirements set forth by the plan, you may be eligible.
